I live handily close to a library, and I had the brilliant idea of getting some baking books from there so I could a) steal recipes, and b) decide if a book is actually worth purchasing. Truth be told, I got a little overzealous, and I now have like 3000 pages of baking knowledge to go through in the next few weeks. So far, these books have really stood out. I like the narration style a lot, and some of the recipes sound amazing. Nutella scones, anyone? One of them has entire sections devoted to peanut butter and malt, which makes me pretty happy.
